Omega consolidó su hegemonía en la relojería de mediados del siglo XX gracias a la impecable manufactura de sus elegantes relojes de vestir y a la introducción de sus célebres mecanismos automáticos de martillo. Esta excepcional pieza de 1950, correspondiente a la referencia 2635, es un testimonio histórico de esa era dorada, destacando de forma magnética por su codiciada esfera negra con tipografía y apliques dorados (gilt dial) que exhibe una pátina genuina cargada de carácter vintage. Para realzar su atractivo atemporal y complementar la calidez de sus detalles dorados, el antiguo brazalete metálico ha sido sustituido por una distinguida correa de cuero verde con pespuntes dorados que le otorga una presencia sofisticada, única y profundamente coleccionable.

La clásica caja de 33 mm está esculpida en acero inoxidable con un acabado pulido y elegantes asas alargadas, resguardada por un cristal acrílico abombado que realza la profundidad de la esfera. El dial aloja números arábigos e índices facetados aplicados en oro que juegan magistralmente con la luz, acompañados por un limpio segundero pequeño a las 6 en punto. En su corazón técnico late el legendario movimiento automático "bumper" o de martillo de manufactura Omega (calibre de la serie 350), una formidable arquitectura mecánica suiza profundamente admirada por coleccionistas debido al entrañable y sutil muelleo táctil que produce su masa oscilante al rebotar entre los topes. Todo el conjunto se actualiza con una cómoda correa de cuero verde con costuras artesanales doradas a tono y una tradicional hebilla ardillón.
