Choose between a sporty or vintage look, a diving or urban style: thanks to an ingenious three-part design, you can easily modify the look of your watch—without the need for tools and in just a few steps—to match your outfit, for a special occasion, or just because you feel like it. At the same time, the reliability, solid construction, and precision of the Powermatic 80 mechanical movement with Nivachron™ balance spring remain unchanged. Certina stylishly brings the irresistible transformations that occur over time to the wrist, with a timepiece that is, in every sense, more than just a watch. The secret of the DS+ watch lies in its three-part construction: the watch head, case, and strap. Each of these three elements is a self-contained unit that can be combined as desired with the other two. The round head, available with three different dials, is pressed from below into one of the two stainless steel cases and securely screwed into place using a separate crown on the case. An innovative gasket made from bio-based material ensures a perfect seal. The strap lugs are located on the case, so the Certina quick-change system can be used to attach the desired strap. The Aqua & Sport kit takes a dynamic approach: a black sunray dial paired with a diving-style case with a unidirectional rotating black bezel, while the Sport version features elongated flanks and six screws. Both models include a black and gray textile strap made from #tide ocean material® and a three-row metal bracelet.
