Paying homage to Seiko's first diver's watch from 1965, this new watch also echoes the design of the 1965 original, but is fully updated in its functions and meets Seiko's strict standards for diver's watches. The hands are wider and feature long-lasting LumiBrite for high legibility even in dark waters. Water resistance has been increased to 200 meters, and the crystal is sapphire for greater strength and durability and has an anti-reflective coating. The watch fits perfectly on the wrist, and the polished Zaratsu line of the case adds a touch of contemporary refinement. It features a waffle-style silicone strap that combines high durability and comfort.
