New dark grey variation of the Classic Worldtimer Manufacture
LOFTFrederique Constant introduced two new variations with a stunning grey dial.
The FC Worldtimer is a must-have for many fans of the brand who want to know the time anywhere in the world, at any time.
After Frederique Constant's first release of the Worldtimer in 2012, the watch proudly stood out as one of the brand's best-selling Manufacture watches. Since then, the Worldtimer has been produced in a range of 11 models, with a wide color palette. In 2019, another color variation of this elegant and sophisticated travel watch was introduced: a dark gray world map design, finely engraved on the dial, with the 24 cities on its outer rim. The date at 6 o'clock is the perfect complement to the Worldtimer function and further enhances the watch's aesthetics. The hour markers add to the dial's legibility, offering additional convenience.
The clock
The new Frederique Constant Classic Worldtimer Manufacture comes in two models with a 42 mm case in rose gold-plated stainless steel or stainless steel, both limited to 718 pieces each.
The FC-718 caliber is an extraordinary piece of machinery; not only is it designed, developed, and produced in-house, but its Worldtimer and date functions are adjustable via the crown, without additional buttons. To easily set the watch, one must choose between three positions; the first allows the user to wind the watch by turning the crown upwards; the second allows the date and city to be set by turning the crown upwards and downwards respectively; and the third position allows the user to set the time by turning the crown downwards.
The watch features two separate dials, one with a 24-hour day/night indicator and the other with the 24-city calendar. As a Manufacture movement, the FC-718 caliber is decorated with Perlage and circular Geneva waves and has a 42-hour power reserve. The dark gray watch is completed with a dark gray alligator strap with white stitching.
