Luis Miguel's Watches: The Series (Part 1)
LOFTIt's the series everyone's talking about, the one that keeps us glued to the television every Sunday singing at the top of our lungs to the hits that made us dance and cry in the 90s, and that have been revived by Diego Boneta and his masterful portrayal of Luis Miguel in the series of the same name.
The action takes place parallel between 1995 and 2007, showing key moments in the singer's career and life, and giving us a wide repertoire of heroes and villains who accompany him throughout his life. And in all the eras portrayed in the series, we were surprised to recognize a number of interesting watches, mainly Rolexes , which the production team expertly assigned to the years corresponding to each scene.
If at first we see a young Luismi struggling to achieve fame, the watch that accompanies him is precisely an accurate indicator of the character at that stage. At the same time, when we meet the singer at the peak of his fame and fortune, we also see how his choice of watch reflects this new status.
In short, a host of heavyweights on the wrist of the great Luis Miguel, and a few surprises on the wrists of the rest of the cast. We invite you to discover with us the first part of this review of the watches featured in Luis Miguel: The Series .

Rolex Datejust Steel/Gold
It's undoubtedly the watch that has the most screen time, accompanying the protagonist from the first episodes, when he begins to experience success, and throughout the 1990s. He mainly uses it with more casual looks, and the steel and gold case best represents the early 1990s, when this Rolex was the fashionable watch. A very good start for Micky .

Rolex Day Date
The Presidents' Watch , this time in a white gold version, is Luis Miguel's choice in the first half of the 2000s, denoting that by then he was already a world-class figure. Its highlight in the series is when it appears on Micky 's wrist during the legendary meeting with Frank Sinatra , giving the protagonist an ultra-sophisticated look worthy of a crooner like Sinatra. The images are not very clear, but it appears to be the version with a smooth bezel and silver background.

Rolex Submariner
Once again, Rolex, but this time the world's most famous diving watch, appears on the wrist of the most famous Latin American singer in the world. Its appearance is brief, but we can clearly see its Oyster bracelet and black dial during some scenes where Luis Miguel is seen working in his recording studio. This classic couldn't be missing from the Sol de México collection. A true fan ...

Patek Philippe Nautilus
Just like that, during a getaway to a casino in Las Vegas , the most sought-after sports car of recent times bursts onto the scene. Behind a black shirt cuff, we can clearly make out the famous silhouette of the Nautilus designed by Gérald Genta more than 40 years ago. It's a 5711 with a classic blue dial and a steel case. A heavyweight that demonstrates Luismi 's level of prowess at this point in his career. What a Patek!

Rolex Daytona?
It's not clear which model it is, and it appears to be a low-quality replica, but let's fantasize and say it's a Steel and Gold Daytona with a gold dial. Curiously, this watch appears at two very different and distant moments in Luismi 's life. First, during a visit to Spain in the 1990s, when he discovers some very disturbing information about his mother's whereabouts. Then, in 2007, in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, while the Sun of Mexico enjoys all the benefits his superstar status offers on his yacht. Whether on land or sea, the Daytona is always a great companion, and its rise in value over the years has surely added even more zeros to the great star's fortune.
Here they are, the first part of Luis Miguel's watches: The Series . We'll soon be sharing our analysis of the watches of the rest of the series' protagonists, where you're sure to find more than one surprise. See you soon!
